Announcements:

The North-Elk Neighborhood Watch is in the process of having the Northfork Blue-Demon sign redone and put back up.  About three months ago the sign was blown down by the wind and has since been laying there by the railroad tracks.  We had someone to come and look at the sign to have it repainted and put back up but only to find out that a tractor trailer had backed up over the sign and demolished it.  We now will have to get a new sign and have found someone that will redo it.

We need your help in making this happen.  Any donations that you give will be greatly appreciated.  Please send check or money order to North-Elk Neighborhood Watch, c/o Debra Bush, PO Box 44, Northfork,  WV  24868.  This is part of our history and it is a shame that no one has taken interest in restoring a part of our history.  We still hold this national championship.

Once the sign is completed we would like to dedicate it to the memory of Coach Jennings Boyd.  Mrs Boyd said this would be fine.
